General Information
We are pleased to announce the ICCT 2016, the International Conference on Industrial Chimneys and Cooling Towers, taking place in Rotterdam, Netherlands, October 5 - 8, 2016. It follows the successful ICCT 2014 in Prague in 2014, which has been attended by more than 200 experts from all over the world.

The aim of the conference is to bring together both groups of experts in building technology of Industrial Chimneys and in Cooling Towers, in order to review chances for cooperation in research and development. Common interests as well as differences shall be identified in order to find best practice methods for design and construction. The conference will present actual developments and the state-of-the-art developments in both cooling tower and industrial chimney technology worldwide. 55 papers are expected to be presented in parallel sessions during the conference, serving the major objectives and topics in both fields.
The chimney organization CICIND, the IASS-Working Group 3 and the VGB-working-council „Chimneys, cooling towers and other specific buildings”, want to prepare a platform, where new developments and the state-of-the-art in both cooling tower and chimney technology can be presented.
Thus the conference will be supported by IASS and VGB PowerTech. The financial and administrative organization will be arranged by CICIND, the scientific organization by the University of Wuppertal.
